Biography

The artiste known as Jesse Jagz was born Jesse Garba Abaga on 10, August 1984 and raised in Jos, Plateau state. He is a multi-hyphenate known for both his rapping and producing skill. Not limited to any particular genre of music, Jesse Jagz has flirted with pop, reggae, soul, hip hop and dance music. As resident music producer for Chocolate City, he has been responsible for putting together albums by himself, MI, Ice Prince and Brymo. As a solo artiste, he has released 3 radically different but excellent studio albums starting with 2010’s Jagz of all trades.

In 2013, Jagz announce he would be parting ways with his erstwhile record label, Chocolate City. His last 2 records were released as an independent artiste. However after some negotiations, Jesse Jagz announce his return to the enlarged Choc Boi Nation. The compilation album The Incredible Choc Boi Nation is his first project since the reunion.
