Biography

Lord Vino aka Lord V goes by the real name Nanven Dogun, born and raised in Jos, Plateau State which seems to be home to most of our major rappers. Lord V moved to Abuja where he later had his secondary school education. He is a graduate of Architecture from the Covenant University before travelling to the United States to further his education. Lord V is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter & composer who has been rapping since his high school days, formerly known as Vino, the lyricist earned the title ‘Lord’ after showcasing his rap skills in the University. His genre of music is rap/ hip-hop and was introduced into the culture by his elder brother, amongst his musical influences are Jay Z, Jadakiss, Fabolous and Mode9. Lord V returned to the country in 2015 after completing his programs and since then has been putting in work in preparation for his debut album. Lord V is signed to SWAY Entertainment.

When he is not drawing building plans or on construction sites, Lord V can be found on the golf course and he is really good at it, the Madrid fan is known for his flows and since he appeared on the scene, his rap style has been well appreciated by his teeming fans. The rapper has had his fair share of battles within his short time in the game with the beef song he recorded dissing South’s very own Yung 6ix titled ’48 Bars of discipline’ and his twitter fallout with rapper A-Q.
