Our Top 40 presents new changes but the same faces with Adekunle Gold’s Pick Up returning to the Number 1 spot after slipping one spot below last week. D’banj’s Emergency  has flunctuated through the charts over the last few weeks, but it peaks at the Number 2 spot this week.

Thanks to the wave of hiphop discourses that rocked social media last week, Jesse Jagz also makes an impressive jump from the 14 to the 10th spot.

The past week was a great week for Nigerian hip hop so it comes as no surprise that this is reflected in our new entries. Off Runtown’s Ghetto University album, Lagos to Kampala featuring Wizkid is at number 31. M.I’s Black Bill Gates also makes a 35th spot debut making the second song off his Illegal Music 3 album to land on the charts. DJ’ Baddo’s Finally featuring Skales, DJ Neptune’s Cool Off featuring Slyde and Konnect also make Top40 debuts.

Amongst the names exiting the charts this week are Patoranking and Simi, Whose Make Am and Open and Close, respectively leave the charts barely a week after returning to the charts. Tiwa Savage’s Love You Hard, Olamide’s Say Something and Tekno’s Duro remix also similarly leave vacant spots on the charts this week.
