Don Jazzy has had our mouths have been watering all year for Reeky’s debut album and thankfully the wait is finally over.

Spotlight comes in lengthy with 18 tracks and three bonus singles. Don Jazzy sticks to a strictly in-house production team comprised of himself, Altims and Babyfresh—who all have credits on the new record. Reekado’s Spotlight manages a pan-African inclusive set of features with Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and Ghanaian rap virtuoso Sarkodie supplying guest vocals on Move and a refix of Oluwa Ni respectively. Other features include dance hall singer Patoranking, Falz and labelmate D’Prince. Early reviews from pressmen and fans who attended the singer’s listening party at Hard Rock Cafe, Lagos yesterday, already indicate Reekado may have a debut hit album on his hands.

Admittedly we haven’t heard any part of the album, but early reviews from, music heads, pressmen and fans who attended the singer’s listening party at Hard Rock Cafe, Lagos yesterday, already indicate Reekado may have a debut hit album on his hands.

We will be bringing you updates and highlights from the album in a few days. But the meantime, you can cop a copy for yourself via iTunes or stream it via Apple Music.

It’s Reeky season baby.
