REVIEW: FOR EXAMPLE – YUNG6IX FEAT. STONEBWOY

Yung6ix_10Self acclaimed King of the South South, Yung6ix, has had a seemingly indifferent 2015.

He dropped some songs that didn’t quite pop, his single ‘Blessings’ featuring Oritse Femi however did quite well in the middle of the year and the visuals gained decent ground for the artist. He recently took to Twitter to voice his disappointment at blogs and music platforms, who failed to acknowledge his input in the game this year.

And what better way to respond to those who doubt you than putting out new material.

On For Example, 6ix teams up with Ghanaian dancehall artist and BET ‘Best African Act’ winner Stonebwoy to deliver this one that is headed straight for the dance floors. The E-Kelly produced beat bangs and serves as the perfect canvass for 6ix to lay his verse and Stonebwoy came through on this adding a different flavor to the tune.

It is a good tune that will definitely set spins on major airwaves as 6ix puts his feelings on the track dropping his usual wordplays and boasts that ‘They feeling the boy from Nigeria to Jand’.
