Olamide continues a chart run domination he has held on to since the release of his viral Who U Epp single earlier this year. This week, Olamide taps into rapper Phyno’s success with Fada Fada which sits atop this week’s chart. The single replaces the YBNL boss’ own Abule Sowo last week’s number one song. Olamide comes in with Who U Epp at the third spot again, while a Davido assisted Falz single, Bad, Baddo, Baddest where Olamide is also featured sees the rapper coming in four places back to back on this week’s chart.
Falz’ Soft Work off his critically acclaimed, Stories That Touch album is one of two entries returning to our chart this week. The other is neo-Afrobeat wonderwork, Breaking News by D’banj. Both singles land a 40th and 39 spot position on the chart.
This week, our top ten may not have been shuffled by new entries but another impact of Olamide’s dominance is evident from Koker’s Kolewerk. The single garners momentum from its refix featuring Olamide to leap at a 7th spot, five places above its former placement and three spots above the more recently released remake.
