It’s the final chart for the month of February 2016 and we have some big chart news this week.

After nearly 6 weeks at the top of the charts, Adekunle Gold’s Pick Up is finally displaced as 2Baba’s Coded Tinz featuring Phyno peaks at the top of the charts.

Moving 3 places up, Coded Tinz stands at the number 1 spot, knocking Adekunle Gold to the second spot. Other major changes on the charts include Humblesmith’s Osinachi remix featuring Davido moving 4 places from the 7th spot to land at number 3.

Olamide’s Don’t Stop is also back on the rise, moving 5 places up from the number 10 spot. The most impressive chart leap this week is Blackmagic’s Wonder which rose 14 steps from number 23 to land the 9th spot.

Is Simi the next Queen of Nigerian pop/soul? (Long Read)

We have only three new entries this week (or rather re-entries). Patorankin’s Make am returns to the charts to a berth at the 38th spot barely one week after exiting the charts. Simi’s summer jam Open and Close also makes a re-entry as the last song on the Top40 chart this week.
