Way before the likes of Kiss Daniels made us to Woju or we Shokied along to the fast-paced sound of Lil Kesh, there were those jams that totally rocked our growing up days.

We take a look at 5 unforgettable hits from back in the days.

LOVE ME JEJE – Seyi Sodimu: When this song dropped in the 90s, it caught like wildfire, the act based in the United States dropped one of the love anthems that stays evergreen in our mind.

NA ME GO MARRY AM- Zaaki Adzee: From the North where Zaaki hails from, he beamed his torchlight on the entire nation with this funny song that tells of his love story with the Benue artiste declaring his intention from the start.

DYNA- Daddy Showkey: Ghetto Soldier Daddy Showkey also had one of the hits of yesteryears, Dyna showed a different side of the Ajegunle raised artiste as it was a song that was inspiring, meaningful and appealing to all ages.

GYRATE – Tony One Week: This was the perfect groove song back in the days, from the palmwine bars to clubs, everybody gyrated to this tune from the comedian/ musician.

BOLANLE – Junior and Pretty:  Arguably the pioneer rap group in the country, with their witty lines and comical lyrics, this duo also combined to give us one of the finest hits from the 90s.
